The Drive-In! Sussex, New Brunswick

Our second camping trip took us to Sussex, New Brunswick.....Town and Country campground....A campground with a drive-in...Packed campground, lots of seasonals.....and then a few extras that allow for booking a weekend here, a weekend there.  It was our first trip to Sussex, NB...

They have a few small cabins as well...

Sitting by the campfire on the first night....Doesn't my hubby look excited!

Marshmallow please!

Hmmmm...Should we have hot dogs or marshmallow roasted over the fire?

Waiting for breakfast.....My kids rough it really well...They brought their DS with them camping..

 Bacon, eggs and toast!

There's always time to sit and read a good book...My son's choice..."Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"  by Roald Dahl

The Jumping Pillow!

We also took a drive into town in Sussex...They have a Smitty's!  Oh how I miss that restaurant..

I also found the radio station....It's on the AM dial!  There are only a few of those left in Canada..

And finally, the drive in...

So, the camping is going great....But after two trips, we've already decided, next year we'll be trading up....Perhaps a bigger pop up trailer...Our ten footer is great for our first trailer, but I think we need something a little bigger, with more storage...This isn't unusual..I've talked to many others who get their first trailer and then realise a year later that they need something a little bigger.

Our next stop....Gagnon Beach in Grand Barachois...Our first camping trip with the Gaudet's!

Eliot River Dream Park, PEI

This is one of the most amazing parks for kids I have ever seen.  It is completely constructed with wood, and my sister calls it the "Million dollar park"  It's located next to the Terry Fox Sports Park in Cornwall, PEI...
